WFYI hosted the annual Spirited Chase event on November 14th! Outdoor activities, social distancing, and an altered event format with additional COVID precautions allowed us to find a way to still connect in person for this year's event.
While it was a bit chilly everyone was able to experience this year's theme of "Where it All Began" by visiting locations that shared various Indianapolis origin stories. Participants visited Freetown Village at Walker Theatre, Flanner House, Crown Hill Cemetery, Spades Park and Crispus Attucks Museum.
We couldn't have pulled this event off without the help of our wonderful volunteers. Thanks to those everyone that helped. Whether it was checking in participants, handing out directions for the day or serving as a site ambassador your helpfulness and hospitality were appreciated.
We look forward to hosting this event again and hope to see you there as a participant or volunteer.
