In celebration of Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month WFYI is inviting our Family Member affinity group to the station for an interactive arts workshop with Arts for Learning's Beatriz Vasquez as well as a station tour featuring PBS KIDS related content activities. We need volunteers to offer the following support:
Check-In/Floater - Assist staff members with checking in guests, guiding them to their activity area after check-in volunteers will shift to floater role and help where needed.
Community Room activity assistants - Help guests during the arts workshop with Beatriz Vasquez, clean up in between groups and help Beatriz prep for the second group, replenish supplies as needed.
Station tour assistant - Walk with guests throughout the tour, bring questions to tour guide, help with activity station and movement activity.
Photographer - Float through building during event to take photos. Focus on children working with their grown-ups on activities, interacting with PBS content, enjoying being at the station.
