Volunteer with WFYI as participants experience and learn with the Indianapolis Urban League, IUPUI Office of Community Engagement and WFYI on March 9 from 6-8:30 p.m.
As participants arrive at Urban League they'll be greeted with songs from the Freetown Village Singers. They will also see shortened versions of Harriet Tubman: Visions of Freedom and Becoming Frederick Douglass, be guided into conversation with others, and enjoy a song-filled intermission.
Volunteers will be greeting guests, helping with registration and light set up. Volunteers will be helping with items from 5:15-6:30 and are welcome to stay for the event.
